After listening to the song on loop all through college yesterday, I can confirm, the CD is amazing. Personal favourites being Mr Eko, Good Morning Charlie and They Took My Son, but I love every song :) Not only is it a well written album, with all the amazingly well done little references like the beeping of the hatch and the quotes, but the music is also pretty flawless.
A must buy, Lost fan or otherwise.

I pre-ordered this cd a week before the release date, and I got it the day before! I was so excited for this because I had just discovered Luke, Jason and Alex through Kristina, and I had been listening to their respective wizard rock bands and so I was excited to hear that the three of them had made a cd together. I love all the songs, but my faves are: "Good Morning Charlie", "Henry Gale", "Dude", "Orientation", "They Took my Son", and, "Invisible Others". Like I said I love them all. DFTBA!!

I just got this album (I preordered) in the mail today, and I am completely amazed.
Although being a Lost fan definitely makes this music over nine thousand times more exciting and wonderful, that's truly saying something, as The Oceanic Six is some of the best music I've heard recently period. The only thing wrong with this album is that it's only ten songs!
Not only do I have to thank these amazing guys for an inspired, beautiful, incredible album, but also for introducing me to a stellar show I'd never given a second thought before hearing the magnificent couple songs they had out on the net before release day.
Thank you so much for this album, which is no less than one of the best gifts I feel I've ever been given.

I don't think you understand how good this album actually is.
The use of motifs from the show - both lyrical ("Everything that I did, I did for the island", "they took my son", the numbers, etc) and musical (the sound of the Hatch's beeping, the flashback sound at the start, etc) is just inspired. The use of the lines 'make your own kind of music/sing your own special song' in 'Will You Be My Constant' is BRILLIANT, and the idea of that song in itself (as well as the idea of a song called 'Monster Eats The Pilot') is beautiful.
Don't write these guys off cos you don't like Lost, or cos that's all they sing about. These boys are the most driven, talented and creative people that have EVER been on this record label, PERIOD. They not only put out a CD in record time, but also made every track phenomenal, filled with wit and imagination. The music speaks for itself and you're simply crazy if you're not already ordering it right now.

I loved it! I kept asking my dad to pre-order... musta asked/emailed him like 10 times, whenever I saw someone advertise it or I remembered!
So happy you made a Lost CD... makes me ready for Season 6!!

The Oceanic Six's sound is simply incredible, you do not even need to understand the Lost references to enjoy the music. The combination between Alex(The Remus Lupins), Jason(Ministry of Magic), and Luke (Ministry of Magic & ALL CAPS) is not to be missed. A definite buy for lost and wrock fans.

Wow, I wish I understood all the lost jokes in the songs, but the sound is just incredible.

This album is the best! Any Lost fan will absolutely love because really, what could be better than great music + great lyrics about Lost? Wish there were more than 10 songs.. Can't wait for more.
